Who Can Join?

To be eligible for the Launchpad program, applicants must meet the following requirements

Development Stage

Participants should be at the early stages of idea development and ready to progress from concept to prototype during the program.

Sector Focus

The proposed idea must address sustainability challenges, including renewable energy, sustainable mobility, carbon capture, or other relevant Climate Tech fields.

Academic Background

Applicants must be students or recent graduates in engineering, environmental science, business, or related disciplines. We strongly encourage cross-disciplinary teams to apply.

Innovation Potential

The idea should offer a unique approach to solving a climate-related problem, with clear potential for development into a viable prototype.

Commitment

Participants must be fully committed to engaging in all aspects of the program, including mentorship, workshops, and office hours, to maximise their learning and development.

FAQs

The Launchpad is a 6-week intensive program empowering idea-stage student innovators to develop solutions addressing critical climate challenges.

Open to students across India with groundbreaking ideas in the climate tech space. We encourage you to apply if you’re passionate about sustainability and innovation.

The program offers a blend of product design development, mentoring sessions, prototyping workshops, and a demo day. Over 6 weeks, you’ll be guided through the journey from idea to working prototype.

Participants are selected based on their proposed climate tech solutions. Evaluation criteria include market fit, problem-solution alignment, innovation, and team strength. After an initial screening, shortlisted teams will pitch their ideas, and thereafter, the top 15 ideators will be selected to join the Launchpad.

You’ll receive mentorship from industry experts, access to state-of-the-art lab facilities and prototyping equipment at T-Works, customised courses, and networking opportunities with potential partners and investors.

The program will run for 45 days and will be conducted in a hybrid format, combining online and in-person sessions.
