Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for Innovate UK’s India Market Access Program, startups must meet the following criteria:

1.Focus on NetZero Solutions: Startups must operate within the NetZero space, demonstrating a clear commitment to advancing sustainability and reducing carbon emissions.

2. Minimum Viable Product (MVP): Applicants should have a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) ready for market testing.

3.India Market Exposure Tour:

The program spans 3-4 months and is divided into three distinct phases:

Phase 1: Market Introduction
Startups embark on their initial visit to the Indian market. This phase is designed to help them understand the local market dynamics through interactive discussions, sessions with industry experts, and engaging activities.

Phase 2: Virtual Incubation
During this phase, startups participate in virtual incubation at T-Hub. They receive mentorship to develop a Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy tailored to the Indian market. Additionally, startups engage with subject matter experts to understand the Indian business landscape.

Phase 3: Market Immersion
In the final phase, T-Hub facilitates immersion within the Indian market, helping startups establish valuable connections and achieve a smooth transition into the local ecosystem.

The program itself is free of charge. However, selected startups are required to pay a deposit of 1,000 Euros in advance. This deposit is fully refundable upon successful completion of the program.

To qualify for the program, startups must:
1. Have a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) already developed
2.  Be registered in the UK
3. Prior presence in the Indian Subcontinent is not required

The program follows a hybrid model, structured in three phases:
Phase 1: India Market Visit – This initial phase is conducted in person, providing direct exposure to the Indian market.
Phase 2: Incubation Phase – This phase is conducted virtually and focuses on mentorship and strategy development.
Phase 3: India Market Immersion – This stage facilitates deeper market engagement and networking.
This blend of virtual and in-person interactions ensures a comprehensive learning and development experience.
