Praveen Jayakumar is currently a “Specialist Solutions Architect Lead – AI & Machine Learning”. He has an overall experience of 23+ years ranging from Architecture, Design, Development and Consulting across multiple business verticals like Banking, Financial Services, Information, Media and Retail. In his current role, he helps customers to design and adopt solutions that leverages various tiers of AWS ML stack like Amazon SageMaker and Machine Learning/Deep Learning.

SPEAKER PROFILES:
Ram Dhulipala leads the digital agriculture theme at ICRISAT. After graduating as an engineer, he worked as a software engineer in Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) from 2004 to 2010 on technologies like VOIP, OSI stack and SIP programming. After obtaining MBA in 2011, he worked in executive positions in the corporate sector in the areas of Finance, Corporate Strategy, Program Management and M&A across diverse sectors. In his current role, Ram drives action research on the use of latest digital technologies in agriculture and has been instrumental in strategizing and executing a private sector and partnership based approach towards digital agriculture.
Jinesh co-founded Omnivore with Mark Kahn in 2010. Previously, he was Vice President and CFO at Nexus Venture Partners, one of India’s leading venture capital funds. Earlier in his career, Jinesh worked in corporate finance roles for Datamatics (leading Treasury/M&A), Patni Computers (initiating the IPO process), and HCL Technologies (founding the BPO business). He is a member of the of the IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Agriculture & Food Processing Committee. Jinesh is a Chartered Accountant with a B.Com from R A Poddar College and an MMS (Finance) from JBIMS.

With 20+ years of work experience, Deepti is focussing on strategic initiatives for India Public
Sector. Current focus areas are smart infrastructure (cities, utilities and transport), digital
agriculture and GovStart program. She has been with AWS since July 2018.
Prior to this, Deepti has led smart cities initiative at Microsoft and IBM Global Business Services.
She has handled business development, ecosystem development and delivery roles around smart
cities in these organizations.
In between her corporate jobs, Deepti has done a 3-years stint with Unique Identification
Authority of India (UIDAI), GoI, where she was part of the strategy team to roll out the Aadhaar
project. As part of UIDAI’s Program Management Unit, Deepti was involved in conceptualizing and
setting up strategy, processes and polices for enrolments, authentication, data updates, eKYC etc.
She program managed rollout of Aadhaar online authentication services and liaised with
ecosystem, designed and executed various Proof of Concepts and pilots to evolve the same.
