ABOUT THE PROGRAM

T-Hub – a global startup catalyst that powers entrepreneurship and deal flow – in partnership with United Technologies Corporation (UTC) Hyderabad Research & Design Center (HRDC) is inviting Cyber Security professionals to apply for the Hack2Hire program. Through this program, we seek to enhance the talent pool of UTC HRDC for implementing projects related to Product security, deploying best in class technology, and streamlined security process across its (CCS/OTIS) products.

UTC HRDC has multiple openings under each of the listed positions and Hack2Hire will help the potential applicants to get employed for one of them.

The first-ever Global Bridge: Canada-India program was completed successfully to help high-growth Canadian technology scale-ups to do business in India. Designed to demystify the local business culture, support product localisation, validate business models and gain in-market networking opportunities to successfully enter the Indian market, selected companies received two and a half months of virtual coaching and access to resources, followed by 3 weeks in market.

Hyderabad-based startup engine T-Hub, and Communitech, a Canada-based public-private innovation hub have selected nine Canadian tech startups for the ‘Global Bridge: Canada-India’ programme.

This program helps high-growth Canadian startups and scale-ups with invaluable market access opportunities to grow their business in India.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR PARTICIPANTS

    • Shortlisted (top 5 or more) candidates who meet the selection criteria will be hired by UTC HRDC.
    • Remuneration as per industry standards.
    • The Employee Scholar Program (ESP)* encourages eligible employees to develop additional skills and engage in lifelong learning at the accredited public colleges and universities while working at UTC HRDC.
      * ESP gives eligible employees a chance to study in some of the most reputed institutions in the world. The Employee Coverage limit for a master’s Degree is INR 750,000. UTC supports PhD programs, certifications as well.
    • Travel* covered for shortlisted candidates to fly down and participate in the Hackathon at T-Hub, Hyderabad.
      *UTC HRDC is solely responsible to cover the travel cost.

THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • UTC HRDC is looking for candidates for Product/Application Security, streamlining application security process across UTC (CCS/OTIS) Business Units providing strategy, advisory, reference resources, training, and support to product development teams for implementing Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) practices.
  • Strong experience in Embedded, IoT, Cloud, Web Application or Mobile Application security assessment.
  • Recognized cyber security certification.
  • Expert level knowledge in cryptography (PKI, Certificate and Key Management).
  • Dynamic Analysis experience on embedded, web, and IoT systems.
  • Expert level knowledge in source code review using automation tools and manual approach. Exposure in wireless and wired protocols.
  • Engineering Graduate with 3 – 15 years of experience in cyber security domain.
